Nuvera:
Mattress Brand
Location
Bursa, Turkey
Overview
NUVERA® is a premium mattress brand launched by Ozay Group, a Turkish manufacturer specializing in furniture and bedding. The brand was developed as a new production line, with ambitions to establish a distinct position within the premium sleep market.
Challenge
The challenge was to build a brand strong enough to establish its position from day one: rooted in Turkish manufacturing expertise, aligned with Gulf market tastes, and flexible enough to grow beyond mattresses into a broader furniture and bedding portfolio.
Moodboard
Insight:
Turkish and Gulf aesthetics meet at a shared appreciation for restraint. In both markets, quiet, ornament-free design can communicate confidence, a brand that doesn’t need to say too much to make an impression. That shared ground became the strategic foundation for NUVERA: a calm, considered visual language designed to feel equally natural in both markets.
Logo Concept:
NUVERA’s mattress is built around a defining engineering detail: a U-shaped zip that runs along the full edge, allowing the cover to be easily removed and put back in place. We turned that functional detail into the core of the identity. The N and U in the wordmark are not simply styled letters. Their forms are derived from the path of the zip itself, each following the same construction of a stroke that rises, curves through a U, and returns, mirroring the way the zip travels around the mattress edge.
The result is a wordmark that doesn’t simply represent the product. It is built from the way the product works.
The Brand Promise:
Every NUVERA mattress is built around a detail few others offer: a U-shaped zip that runs around the full perimeter, allowing the entire cover to be removed, cared for, and returned to its original condition.
That simple piece of engineering became the foundation of the brand promise:
A mattress designed to live longer.
Icon Concept
At first glance, it's the edge of a mattress. Look again, and it's the arm of a chair. The icon is designed to hold both readings at once, two curves sharing a single spine, drawn from the same turn that shapes the wordmark. Nuvera starts in the bedroom, but the mark is already built to move beyond it, toward furniture, toward the home as a whole.
Color Concept
The palette follows a single day at home.
Deep Teal is night, the hour of deep rest.
Muted Sage is first light on fresh linen, the morning the bed is made.
Warm Brown is worked wood, the material the house is built on.
Around them, Warm Beige stands for the fabric itself, and Soft Gray is daylight on a plain wall, two calm tones that let every surface breathe.
The palette also plans ahead. As Nuvera grows from mattresses into bedding and furniture, each category already has its color: Teal for sleep, Sage for linens, Brown for furniture, a system that maps the whole house without anyone having to think about it.
Pattern Concept
The repetition isn't decorative filler. Row against row, the curves interlock the way quilted stitching runs across a mattress top, each unit leaning into the next, no gaps, no breaks, one continuous surface. From a distance, it reads as texture; up close, it's the brand, multiplied.
